Our Story

Founded by two driven individuals – an international rugby player and a computer scientist – Framesports was born from a simple observation: elite-level analytics shouldn’t be limited to top-tier organisations.

We saw that traditional rugby analytics platforms were expensive, slow, and not specifically designed for the unique aspects of rugby. As a result, most teams either couldn’t afford professional analysis or weren’t getting rugby-specific insights when they needed them most.

Our solution bridges this gap, making professional-grade analytics accessible to clubs at all levels while delivering results in just hours, slashing industry standards.

The Team Behind Framesports

Lachlan McGrigor

Lachlan is a former Canada U20 rugby player who’s seen firsthand what teams really need on the pitch. He teamed up with Ori to create Framesports while studying at Bath University. Having played at a high level, Lachlan spotted a clear gap – rugby teams weren’t getting the analysis tools they deserved. He’s turned his practical playing experience into a mission to give teams of all sizes access to the kind of data that actually helps them win games.

Ori Marash

Ori graduated with top honors in Computer Science with AI from Bath University and immediately spotted how technology could solve a real problem in rugby. Drawing from his time at startups DitchCarbon and KonnekApp, he saw teams wasting hours on manual game analysis. Ori recognized that recent breakthroughs in AI could transform match analysis, having already used machine learning to streamline workflows in past projects. He applies technical expertise to create technology that works for real teams.
